As you'll soon find out (or if you're an existing customer, you'll already know) at the heart of our business is a culture where our world truly revolves around our customers, so we won't spend too much time talking about ourselves. Here though is a brief snapshot of our journey so far and an insight into what makes us tick.
When we set out on our journey in 2003 we were known as Southern Lakes Real Estate.
Fuelled by our achievements and consistent sales success, we helped many buyers and sellers of property in the Southern South Island achieve their real estate goals and ambitions. However, six years down the track we geographically ‘outgrew’ our original name, so our new brand;- hoamz - was born. Now you'll see the hoamz brand at properties for sale and rent throughout Invercargill, Western Southland, the Clutha District, the Catlins and more!
The way our name came about is actually very simple. hoamz is what we do. We help people to buy hoamz, sell hoamz, rent hoamz or invest in hoamz.
Our name felt right to us the minute we heard it and we hope that everything we do at hoamz (and how we do it) will feel right to you too.
At hoamz our heart is set on becoming the leading and most admired marketer of property and provider of the most knowledgeable and informed investment property advice in New Zealand. Our offices all have local ownership, so we're constantly working to give back to the local economies in which we operate.
And the key element of our success – that’s easy to identify. It’s our teamwork. Time and time again we hear from our customers that they were delighted with the way all hoamz agents, marking staff and admin staff got behind their property. Sellers love the fact that all of our agents are actively working to sell their home, that we call come to view it and all contact our buyers. Buyers love the fact our agents are never, ever trying to only sell their own listings. Our team structure means all buyers are introduced to all opportunities, which in turn works perfectly for our vendors too. It’s what we do differently and it’s what makes us so successful.
